I went to go play pool yesterday with Cristy. Man that was a blast. It was just a ton of fun catching up and goofing off. And it also just feels good to have so much fun while not being destructive.

Then we discovered the jukebox. All of a sudden I was taken back to my younger years.

Thirteen years old. Never smoked, never drank, never did drugs, never had sex, never wanted to. Allowance day, walking down Osborne to Miss Q's to play pool. We'd stop at the dollar store for chips and a pop first though.

We'd play pool and feed what was left of our allowances to the jukebox. It was always so much fun.

The song we always had to play, no matter what was Always by Bon Jovi... and every time I hear that song, I still think of those days playing pool, and how it was one of my favorite things to do.

So what happened?

As I discovered last night, nothing that can stop me from having that kind of fun again.
